Stick Crisis is a game developed by VMRam95. This landing page allows you to learn about the game, view changelogs, and subscribe to our newsletter. We are committed to keeping your data minimal and your privacy protected.

Data We Collect
We collect your email address when you voluntarily subscribe to the newsletter. If you submit feedback on the website, we store its type, description and optional email. Feedback sent from the game may also include the game and Unity versions, platform, resolution, operating system, language and, for bug reports, up to 100 recent technical log lines. With your analytics consent, the website records random session and visitor identifiers, page and title, referrer, UTM parameters, device type, browser, operating system, resolution, locale and approximate location (country, region, city and timezone) derived by Vercel from the connection. We do not store the IP address in the analytics table. You can manage cookies from the footer.
How We Use Your Data
We use your email to send the newsletter or reply to your feedback; feedback and its technical details to investigate problems and improve the game; and optional analytics to measure website use and aggregate campaign effectiveness. We never sell or rent your data or share your email with third parties for marketing purposes.
Legal Basis for Processing
The newsletter and optional analytics rely on your consent, withdrawn through the unsubscribe link or Manage Cookies. Handling voluntary feedback and preventing abuse rely on our legitimate interests in answering enquiries, improving the game and keeping the service secure; you may object on grounds relating to your situation. Neither subscribing nor accepting analytics is required to browse. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Data Storage
Newsletter, feedback and our own analytics data are stored in PostgreSQL on Supabase. Vercel hosts the website, processes requests and provides the approximate location used by consented analytics. Google also processes data for its optional analytics and the YouTube player when you activate it. Email providers process addresses, messages and logs needed for delivery. We apply access controls; no Internet service is risk-free.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate this website:
- ▸Supabase — Database for subscribers, feedback and consented analytics.
- ▸Self-hosted email service and SMTP provider — Newsletter, welcome and feedback confirmation emails, plus administrator notifications containing enquiry data.
- ▸Vercel — Website hosting, deployment and approximate request location.
- ▸Google Analytics (Google) — Measures visits and interactions only if you accept analytics. We do not enable Google signals or advertising personalisation.
- ▸YouTube (Google) — External player in privacy-enhanced mode, loaded only when you press play. Google then receives connection data and may process video usage data.
These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Ask info@stickcrisis.com for information on recipients, locations and applicable safeguards. Their policies do not replace our obligations as controller. Links to Steam and social networks lead to external services with their own terms.
Your Rights
Under applicable data protection regulations, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Data Retention
The newsletter continues while your subscription is active. Unsubscribing stops messages but does not automatically delete the inactive record; you may request erasure. The need to retain feedback depends on resolving the enquiry, following up on the issue and potential claims. Analytics is retained according to the need to measure the service; withdrawing permission stops new measurements but does not automatically erase earlier records. We do not promise an automatic database purge: ask info@stickcrisis.com about retention of your data or to request erasure. Retention must be limited to what is necessary and any applicable legal obligations.
Children's Privacy
The website is not directed at children. In Spain, where processing relies on consent, children under 14 need consent from their legal representatives, except as provided by law. Do not send personal data or enable optional services without the authorisation that applies. If you believe we received a child's data without valid authorisation, contact info@stickcrisis.com so we can review it and take appropriate action.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
